Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Vastra Haveli (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit handloom.rjappstudio.in or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We run a small family handloom saree business in Gujarat, India, and we only collect what we need to serve you.

1. Information we collect

Order details: your name, email address, mobile number, delivery address, PIN code, the sarees you order and any note you add.
Messages: what you write in our contact form, and your name and email when you send it.
Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited. This is collected through server logs and security tools so that we can keep the site working and safe.
Cookies: small files that keep your cart and checkout working and help protect the site (see section 7).

We do not collect card, bank or UPI details. All orders are Cash on Delivery.

2. How we use your information

To receive, confirm and deliver your order. Every order is verified by a phone call to the mobile number you give before we accept it. This protects you and us from fake or mistaken orders.
To send you order emails: order received, order confirmed, order completed, cancellations, and the thank-you gift code after delivery.
To answer your questions and requests.
To prevent spam, fraud and misuse of the site, and to keep it secure.
To meet our legal, accounting and tax duties.

We do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to. We do not sell your information.

3. Orders, stock and cancellation (summary)

An order request is not final until we confirm it by phone. We may cancel or refuse an order, for example if an item is out of stock or no longer available, the price or product details shown were wrong, we cannot reach you on the number given, the delivery address is outside the area we serve (Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar), or the order looks fake or abusive. If we cancel, we will tell you by phone or email. Because you have not paid anything in advance, there is nothing to refund. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.

4. Who we share information with

We share only what is needed, and only with:

Delivery staff or couriers who deliver your order (your name, address and phone number).
Our hosting and email providers who store the website data and send our emails.
Security and anti-spam tools that protect the website.
Authorities when the law requires us to.

We never sell or rent your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for delivery, support, accounting and tax rules. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

6. How we protect it

The site uses HTTPS, a security firewall and login protection, limits on repeated requests, and spam checks on our forms. Only the owner and trusted staff can see orders. No online system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and we limit who can access it.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies the shop needs, such as the cart, checkout session and security cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout may then not work.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose you did not agree to. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at handloom@rjappstudio.in from the email address you used for your order, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Some records, such as order and tax records, must be kept by law for a period, so we may not be able to delete those straight away.

9. Children

Our shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other websites such as social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make an important change, we will say so on the website.
